Acting Police Commissioner, Steven Williams, says an internal probe is recommending that disciplinary action could be
taken against some of the officers involved in the nationwide road blocks recently.
The move resulted in many commuters being stuck in traffic grid lock for several hours.
Speaking at the weekly police news briefing held the Administration Building in Port of Spain today Mr Williams
explained that the move was a legal one.
However, the issue has to do with the outcome of the initiative.
Mr Williams said the probe has also revealed there are issues relating to disciplinary breaches.
