Members of the Protective Services gathered at the office of Police Social and Welfare Association in Port of Spain to voice their concerns about the delay in salary negotiations.
President of the Police Social and Welfare Association, Inspector Anand Ramesar, called for the intervention of Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar.
He spoke at a news briefing on Tuesday.
President of the Prison Officers Association Ceron Richards added that Prison Officers are demotivated.
He called for an immediate start to wage negotiations.
Acting President of the Fire Service Association , Ashton Cunningham, said that its members will not operate normally without a proper salary.
Inspector Ramesar said they have consulted the Minister of National Security Gary Griffith on the issue.
