The Public Services Association welcomes government’s latest move to improve the working conditions for civil servants.
On Thursday Finance Minister, Larry Howai said the Ministry will spend 1.3 billion dollars to finish government’s campus buildings in Port- of- Spain, which house various ministries.
The PSA has been complaining about health and safety issues at several buildings.
In an interview on Friday, PSA President, Watson Duke, said the announcement is a step in the right direction.
However, the trade unionist warned the PSA will maintain a zero tolerance approach toward unsatisfactory working conditions.
