Parents of students who attend the School for the Blind in Santa Cruz are claiming that sexual abuse is occurring on the premises, mainly when students sleep over at the institution.

Parents of students who attend the School for the Blind in Santa Cruz are also lamenting on the
closure of the school.

Despite a recent statement issued by the TTBWA’s CEO, there are claims that the school’s Principal, Derrick Mundy is being victimized by the Association.

News Power Now spoke with head of the Parent Teacher’s Association Alicia Modeste who noted that
parents who refuse to let their children sleep in at the school are now being locked out by the Blind Welfare Association, along with their children.
