Public Services Association President, Watson Duke

Tomorrow Public Services Association President, Watson Duke, is expected to appear in the Scarborough Magistrate’s Court.

The trade unionist is charged with disorderly behaviour and trespassing.

The charges arose out of an incident at the Tobago Regional Health Authority in Scarborough on Friday.

Reports say that police officers had to remove Mr Duke from the offices after he and protesting TRHA workers refused to leave the compound in spite of being asked to do so several times by the officers.

The TRHA employees demonstrated over outstanding back pay which they claim have not  been addressed since 2011.
