Public Services Association President Watson Duke was present yesterday when members attached to the San Fernando Magistrate Court walked off the job.
The workers cited health and safety concerns for their actions.
The San Fernando Court has been added to a list of buildings where PSA workers have refused to work.
Mr Duke also claimed that the safety of the 24 workers, who occupy the building, was put at risk on a daily basis.
The PSA president stated that the workplace needed to certify that everything at the building was checked to ensure that the facilities were safe for the workers.
He also divulged that the Association had tried to take action against the state, in an effort to improve conditions for workers but without success.
