Ramdin delighted about West Indies versus Bangladesh

Denesh Ramdin – West Indies Test Cricket captain

Before him were Sir Garfield Sobers 1965, Clive Lloyd, Sir Vivian Richards, the 1980s and Jimmy Adams at the turn of this new milenium.

 

Denesh Ramdin, the 26-year-old Trinidad and Tobago national had the distinction of being a winning West Indies team captain in a milestone match -the 500th- a clinical 296-run beating for Bangladesh.

 

Ramdin made a first-ball duck  but he had six catches as wicketkeeper in the match and moreover he as the 35th West Indies Test Cricket captain had overseen a West Indies triumph.

Ramdin had a lot to say when the 5ooth match was over.
