Relatives and friends of Ravindra Ramrattan, the Trinidadian scholar who died in a terrorist attack in Kenya last weekend, will say goodbye at his funeral service on Tuesday.
Ramrattan’s funeral will be held at his family’s home in Munroe, Road, Cunupia, followed by cremation at the Waterloo Cremation Site.
A week ago today, Ramrattan was shopping at Nairobi’s upscale Westgate mall when Al Qaeda-linked militants attacked.
Four years ago he moved to Kenya where he worked as a research economist at Financial Sector Deepening (FSD) Kenya and as a consultant with the World Bank.
Ramrattan was a past pupil of Presentation College, Chaguanas, and winner of the President’s Medal Gold in 2002.
He turned 30 earlier this month.
