Relatives of 25-year-old Brandon Khan who was shot dead on News Year’s morning, are today denying that the was a member of the Unruly Isis gang in Enterprise, Chaguanas.
The young man was shot dead while standing at the corner of Reuben Lane and Goodwill Road. His family have since described him as a loner.
Recalling what took place, one relative told the Newsday Newspaper that Khan had been a part of a community get together at the local parlor. He said men, who were not known in the community had been seen standing near a car talking to each other. He explained that when Khan’s back was turned, while talking with his cousins, the two men opened fire.
Another young man, 20-year-old Randy Mahaboud, was also shot and is said to be in critical condition, while Khan’s three week pregnant wife was shot in the leg and is also warded at hospital. The two assailants are yet to be detained.
