PNM Candidate, Dr. Denise Tsoi-a-fatt–Angus

There were reports of irregularities in the voting process during the Tobago Council elections held by the People’s National Movement.

While several candidates described their voting process as smooth, they claimed that they received reports from their respective supporters about having issues either being sent to the wrong polling station or their names not appearing on the final voting list.

Candidate Trevor Craig candidate for political Leader PNM Tobago was the first to report inaccuracies in the voting process.

Another candidate Handel Beckles also signaled his intention to investigate complaints made by his supporters.

Candidate Dr. Denise Tsoi-a-fattAngus complained that she also received complaints from her supporters.

However she said she did not feel that it would affect the outcome.
