Rescued sisters admits  not the first time their abuser sexually abused them.

NEWS GRAPHIC 9The two sisters aged nine and 14 who were rescued on Tuesday by police, admitted to police that this was not the first time their abuser had sexually abused them.

Officials of the Police Cyber Crime Unit apprehended a man they found in a heavily tinted vehicle with the two girls, at an Caroni 1975 Ltd canefield near Cedar Hill Estate in Barrackpore.

Both girls were naked.

The sisters spent several hours in the company of Child Protection Unit at the Oropouche Police Station, relating what the suspect was doing to them.

The man, who remains in police custody, was a friend of the girls’ father.

The children spent Tuesday night at home and yesterday were taken to the officer who rescued them on Tuesday.

A female relative, who police believe may have aided the suspect in his attacks, is expected to be questioned soon.
