The offices of the Oilfield’s Workers Trade Union, was picketed this morning. A group of ex-workers of a company now known as Sangre Grande Paper Products, have been asking for answers from the union on the progress of their case since they were released from the company.
However in an interview with News Power Now this morning before their protest, group member Kenny Hooliay disclosed their trust in the union to handle to handle their
matter seemed ill placed.
Mr. Hooliay revealed that they were frustrated that the OWTU refused to give them answers.
He said that what made matters worse was the fact that the company was willing to settle with them.
He divulged that he had lost quite a lot waiting on the union to handle the matter, however nothing has been done and the ex-workers are demanding answers.
