Operations at the Santa Cruz Fire Station are now back to normal.
The Fire Service Association Second Division said that officers were forced to abandon the station due to health and safety concerns.
Following intervention by the management of the fire service, it was agreed that the officers be transferred to other stations until their safety issues are addressed.
In a News Power Now interview on Friday afternoon, Fire Services Association Second Division President, Anton Cunningham, confirmed that the situation has returned to normal.
Mr. Cunningham said there is need for an improved process in the fire service that will identify safety challenges early.
