The Minister of Health says students writing the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) examination in August will not be required to wear face masks. However, physical distancing will be enforced.
Speaking during Wednesday’s virtual media briefing, Minister Deyalsingh said the invigilators will be required to wear masks.
He said the Ministry of Health advised the Ministry of Education that children sitting exams will not be required to wear masks. A total of 19,344 students will sit the SEA exam on August 20.
