Twelve year old Shivanna Chatoor has been named the top student in this year’s edition of the Secondary Entrance Assessment Exam.
Shivanna attends the Avocat Vedic Primary School, at Siparia Old Road, Fyzabad.
This is the highest placement for the school which achieved some success in 2012 when Victoria Maharaj, was joint third-place winner.
The second and third highest students also hail from the southland and are pupils of the Grant Memorial Presbyterian
Primary School and the ASJA Primary school in San Fernando.
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and EducationMinister Dr. Tim Gopeesingh are expected to pay the students a visit.
