Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith says the Sex Island party being advertised to take place on an island off Trinidad and Tobago will not happen.

In a report on the New York Post’s website, the organizers of the four-day long event, which promises its patrons drugs and prostitutes, had claimed to been given the “go-ahead” by local authorities.

Commissioner Griffith, in a recent television interview, said the event is definitely not going to happen.

Commissioner Griffith said the police service is taking a no nonsense approach to crimes of this nature as it can lead to bigger crimes.
