Sixty officers have been arrested and charged for various offences since the establishment of the Professional Standards Bureau of the Police Service.
Acting Commissioner of Police, Stephen Williams gave the update at the weekly police news briefing held at the Police Administration Building on Sackville Street in Port- of- Spain.
The Professional Standards Bureau was formed in 2011.
Mr. Williams said the service is determined to rid law enforcement of rogue police officers.
He said praised the public for the input in the fight against crime.
