Some homes in Sangre-Grande, Balandra and Tobago were affected by strong winds and heavy rainfall on Sunday evening.

Confirmation of this comes from Chief Executive Officer of the Office Disaster Preparedness and Management, Dr Steven Ramroop.

He was speaking in a News Power Now interview this afternoon.

Dr Ramroop explained that the relevant agencies have responded to the various emergency situations.
