St Augustine without water due to ruptured main

tap-waterThe Water and Sewerage Authority advises customers in parts of St Augustine and environs affected by a disruption in their water supply that the company is working to address the situation.

WASA said the disruption was caused by a rupture along the 16” main located at the corner of Gordon Street and Santa Margarita Circular, St. Augustine.

They stated that repairs to the main began at 5:00am today and service is expected to be restored by 9:00pm tonight.

The areas affected as a result of the rupture include:

Gordon Street, Santa Margarita, Mohammed Trace, Ragbir Hill, Warren Street, Warner Street, Eastern Main Road between Curepe to Tunapuna, Mc McCarthy street, St. Augustine north of the PBR, Tunapuna north of the PBR,St. John’s Road,El Dorado Road and other parts of El Dorado
The Authority apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
