St. Joseph MP condemns ‘Motion of no Confidence’ filed against Opposition Leader

St. Joseph MP Terrance Deyalsingh says the Opposition is appalled and condemns the ‘Motion of no Confidence’ filed against Dr. Keith Rowley.

His comment with News Power Now this morning, came just one day after the Opposition, for a second time, walked out of the parliament when the moti on as filed.

Mr. Deyalsingh said the move yesterday was meant to let the government and the citizens of T&T know that the motion was null and void.

When asked if this motion and several other issues raised in the public domain will have a major effect on the upcoming General Elections, Mr. Deyalsingh said he feels it will.

Meanwhile the St. Joseph MP condemned the actions taken by Tobago East MP, Vernella Alleyne-Toppin, saying Toppin used the Parliament Chamber to raise issues of a social matter of rape and not the issue of crime.
