The Ministry of Education is being told to do something now about a rat and dog infestation at the Malick Secondary school.
Students at the school were sent home yesterday because of the presence of rat droppings at the school.
There’ve also been complains about stray dogs gaining access to the school’s compound.
Teachers have reportedly refused to attend classes in protest of what’s been happening.
President of the Parent Teacher’s Association Pricilla Daniel this morning said the Ministry of Education is dropping the ball and not doing what’s necessary to treat with the situation.
Speaking on TV6’s Morning Edition program today, she said that while initial efforts to arrest the situation were made, enough hasn’t been done.
