TEACHERS UNION CLAIMS SEVEN SCHOOLS STILL FACING PROBLEMS INTO THE NEW TERM

TTTTTTTThe teachers union claims seven schools are still experiencing safety, security and infrastructure problems going into the second week of the new term.

Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association Second Vice President, Lyndsey Doodhai, in a News Power Now interview said over the past three months various challenges have been encountered at Princess Town West Secondary School.

He said teachers have decided not to carry out their duties in an unsafe working environment.
Mr Doodhai also cited difficulties at Mayaro Government Primary School, Presyal Government Primary School, Malick Secondary and Arima North Secondary.
