One of the men who was shot to death in a confrontation with police officers in Trou Macaque, Laventille is being described as someone who was a valuable asset to society.
Nicholas Barker was one of the five men who lost their lives after a shootout with police officers last week.
Nicholas’ uncle Terry Barker says that his nephew was a past student of Success Laventille Composite School, a part of the Laventille Riddim Section and an avid lover of football who was always focused on doing good.
Speaking with Sherma Wilson here on Power 102.1fm on Sunday.
He challenged any police officer to state that Barker had a criminal background.
Barker said that there were several details about the shooting that he took issue with.
