The situation continued today with the Ministry of Transport advising that no Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC) buses would be operating.
Corporate communications specialist of PTSC Carl Ramdeo revealed that this was because of a breakdown of talks yesterday between the drivers’ representing union, the Transport and Industrial Workers’ Union (TIWU) and the PTSC.
He was speaking this morning on the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102.1 fm.
He said that an advisory was issued via the media advising the public so that they could make alternate arrangements.
Mr. Ramdeo stated that the next meeting was carded for March 17, however because of issues that required urgent attention this date was not realistic.
