The MSJ appeals to PNM to avoid making similar financial moves as the UNC

MSJ Leader David Abdullah

The Movement for Social Justice said it is not surprised by the duplicity of the United National Congress.

Issuing a statement via a media released, Political Leader of the MSJ, David Abdullah said the United National Congress has apparently awoken from a deep, long sleep like Rip Van Winkle.

Abdullah says the UNC forget what they did when they were in power from 2010 and 2015.

He alluded to then People’s Partnership Government’s increased spending from $49.8 billion in 2010 to $62.8 billion in 2014 an increase of 26 percent.

This Abdullah said saw the revelation of continued budgets with fiscal deficits totaling more than $19.5 billion in that four year period.

The MSJ Political Leader is today appealing to the PNM to not  implement the similar measures as he said our social services and infrastructure will continue to deteriorate and wealth and income inequality will continue to worsen.
