The La Brea community came into focus on Saturday night, this as the People’s National Movement caravan rolled into the community.
Speaking to the audience on Saturday night, Opposition Leader, Dr. Keith Rowley recalled that he had been in the cabinet when it was realized that more needed to be done to bring the area up to par with the rest of the country.
Dr. Rowley said he was unsure as to why the current government seemed bent on delaying La Brea’s industrial development, noting that the Aluminum project had immediately been shut down following the 2010 election.
The Opposition Leader delivered a strong assurance to the people of La Brea, an assurance that would lend to industrial development in the area.
