New Developments today as Chief Ricardo Bharath Hernandez is stating that Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has not yet met with the First People’s Community to discuss a way forward on the issue of the remains and artifacts found on the grounds of the Red House.


In an interview with News Power Now this morning the Chief indicated that requests have been submitted as to how they would like to have the matter resolved.


Yesterday in the Parliament Dr. Rowley made it clear that there were no longer any issues with regards to the project and indicated that the first people were part of the process.

However today Chief Hernandez is highlighting the details of his request and he is hopeful that the matter will be treated with carefully and respectfully.


The Community is also asking that a Monument be erected to signify the presence of the First People who lived and were buried on the site.
