The Tobago arm of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce is today expressing concern with what it says is an upsurge in armed robberies on the island.
Chamber President Demi John Cruickshank says his association has seen several such instances in the past few weeks.
Speaking with News Power Now, Mr. Cruikshank said more needs to be done to address the issue.
He said a meeting was in fact held with the police to discuss the issue and he is somewhat satisfied that the police are on the right track.
Mr. Cruikshank also commended the police for already bringing some of the perpetrators to justice.
