The baby identified as Akilon Glasgow was rushed to the facility after he was found unresponsive by his mother Nikeisha Henry around 2pm.
His 29 year old mother told police she took her baby to the Point Fortin Health Centre on Monday since his skin appeared yellow.
According to Henry her son was examined by a nurse who recommended that she change the baby’s formula.
The baby was fed the new formula the following day and put to bed.
Henry said when she checked the baby he was motionless.
The baby was removed to the San Fernando mortuary where and autopsy would be performed tomorrow.
