‘TIGERS WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF’

IMG_1043The Emperor Valley Zoo has had a lot of activity recently, with the acquisition of a number of new animals.
Curator at the Zoo Mr. Nirmal  Biptah states that it is all part of a strategic plan.

He says that they have a collection planning committee that has put together a list of animals that the Zoo would like to acquire and they have been working with that.

Most recently the Institution has acquired three white tigers and two lionesses one of which is white.

Animal Handler and Breeder Mike Bestor while acknowledging that the White Tiger is an endangered species, sought to allay the fears of animal activists who are concerned about how the conditions of captivity affect the Tigers.

The Zoo’s Curator Mr. Biptah stated that the Zoo’s facilities were more than adequate for its newest attractions.

He further reveals that the Zoo has been making great strides in ensuring that it creates a memorable experience for all visitors.
