The Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce is concerned about the quality of service with the cargo vessel which operates between the islands.
Recently in the parliament Transport Minister, Steven Cadiz said the cargo vessel is operating on one engine.
This, he explained has caused severe inconvenience to business operators and other persons who utilize the service.
Mr Cadiz also indicated that the fast ferry vessels have been taking up some of the slack but admitted the situation is still unsatisfactory.
Tobago Chamber of Commerce Chairman, Diane Hadad, said the situation is putting a strain on entrepreneurs.
Ms Hadad also called for the matter to be corrected with a level of urgency.
