The Tobago Hoteliers and Tourism Association claims that it has noticed an increase in the cost of food and beverage in the sister isle.

It attributes the situation to the challenges affecting sea transportation between Port of Spain and Scarborough.

Speaking on the Business Corner Programme on Power 102.1fm this week Christopher James T.H.T.A. President said many hotel and guest house operators are doing what they can to stay in business amid serious issues confronting the sector.

He added that the sector has also seen a decline in visitor arrivals from the Trinidad.
