In Tobago, police officers arrested a 28-year-old suspect following the alleged assault of a 15-year-old female victim which reportedly occurred sometime in March 2020.

Giving her account, the victim told police that while at her home, the accused came to her house and took her to the Bloody Bay Lookout. There, she alleged, the man sexually assaulted her.

An enquiry was conducted by WPC Jackson of the Tobago CPU who arrested and charged the suspect for one count of sexual penetration of a minor.

He was expected to answer to the charge when he appeared before a Scarborough Magistrate earlier today.
