Members of the business arena in Tobago are joining their counterparts in Trinidad on the issue of solving problems relative to the supply of foreign exchange on the sister isle.

Recently the Bankers Association of Trinidad and Tobago said it has been assured by the Central Bank on matters relating to the reliability and availability of foreign exchange.

For the year-to-date, the Central Bank said it injected US$660 million into the financial system, US$130 million more than the corresponding period in 2013.

Speaking at the weekly post executive council news briefing, Tobago House of Assembly Finance Secretary, Joel Jack, said he is open to discussions with the Central Bank Governor on this critical matter.
