Tobago Tourism Association Head to discuss US Cuba Embargo

“Enormous human and economic damage”- words used by President of Cuba, Raoul Castro in describing the removal of the US, Cuba trade embargo, which had been in place for more than 50 years.

Now that the embargo has been lifted, questions are raised as to whether this will have an effect on tourism for other Caribbean destinations.

Carol Ann Birchwood James of the Tobago Hotel and Tourism Association says details on the embargo’s lift are still being reviewed.
