Toco Fisherman appeared in court for the murder of a Tobago man three weeks ago.

Dominic Charles appeared before Scarborough Magistrate, Michelle Maharaj-Brown charged with the murder of Zaquis Daniel.

30 year old Daniel was killed following a dispute with another man near Live Wire Bar, Lambeau, Tobago, on July 15th.

He was stabbed multiple times.

This was the first recorded murder in Tobago for 2016.

Charles, from Power Street, Toco, was taken into custody when he appeared in court on Wednesday to answer the charge which was laid indictably.

The matter was adjourned to August 24.
