TRADE UNION MEETS WITH PRESIDENT

by | Apr 16, 2014

The apparent loss of values in the country and moves to privatize key national institutions are two of the areas highlighted by a delegation of the Banking Insurance and General Workers Trade Union during a meeting today with President Anthony Carmona.

B.I.G.W.U. President, Vincent Cabrera, in a News Power Now interview this afternoon said the recent controversial sale of shares at First Citizens Bank was another issue put forward to His Excellency by a six member delegation.

Last week at the post cabinet news briefing Attorney General, Anand Ramlogan, said the Director of Public Prosecution will be given a file relating to the controversial sale of shares at state owned First Citizens Bank.
