The San Juan \Barataria Business Association believes the call by the Joint Trade Movement for the public to boycott some businesses could have serious implications for this country.
On Wednesday JTUM launched the appeal claiming that some of the big establishments which enjoy huge profits are engaging in jobs cuts.
JTUM Leader, Ancil Roget, defended the Movement’s position during a news briefing.
Mr. Roget appealed to the public to give support to small businesses adding that the union’s latest move has a second phase.
However, SJBA President, Vivek Charran, in a News Power Now interview this afternoon said the move could create further problems in a tough economic and business climate.
