Members of the Oilfields Workers Trade Union protested in front of the Ministry of Labour and Small and Micro Enterprises at the waterfront this morning.
The members were responding to statements made by Minister of Labour, Errol Mcleod at the People’s Partnership rally, last Saturday.
Mr. McLeod accused the union of teaming up with the Opposition to try to destabilize the country.
President of the OWTU’s Fyzabad/Palo Seco Branch, Leroy Connell, said the members are very disappointed with Mr. Mcleod’s tenure as Minister of Labour.

President of Trinmar Branch, Ernesto Kesar said members feel betrayed by their former union colleague.
Mr. Mcleod bypassed the protesters on his way to his office at the waterfront and was booed and jeered by the protesters.
He was called a sellout by OWTU Senior Labour Relations Officer Errol A. Mcleod.
