The Public Services Association (PSA) has called on the management of the Board Inland Revenue (BIR) Building to keep their word and address the health and safety concerns.
Mr. Duke said contrary to popular belief his union is not about shutting buildings.
He expects upgrades and repairs to done at other departments.
On March 18th Mr. Duke led PSA union members out of the building claiming that employee’s lives were at risk.
According to the union head, some 12 employees died from a range of illnesses that were caused from their occupation of a ‘sick building’.
Treasury building workers will also resume their regular 8AM 4PM shift
