The Trinidad and Tobago Automobile Dealers Association has been granted an injunction by the Court which will prevent the government from implementing a policy for the foreign used car industry.

This has been confirmed by Automobile Dealers Association President, Visham Babwah, who spoke with us in a News Power Now interview this afternoon.

He claimed the association is concerned about plans to introduce new dealers without a probation period during which they will be monitored to ensure they comply with rules and regulations.

Mr Babwah said in the past, action by unscrupulous dealers almost led to the collapse of the industry.

Babwah is just as unscrupulous as the rest of them. Within days a full report on Racket in the used car industry will be released. We the prospect dealers will expose the entire industry. Babwah better refrain from his court action else pictures, records and everything is going to be released. All this fraud will have to end.
