Trinidad and Tobago Carnival Bands Association concerned about NCBA leadership

Members of the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival Bands Association, a break away faction of the National Carnival
Bands Association (NCBA) voiced their concerns and issues with the NCBA on the Power Breakfast Show.

Children’s Mas band leader, Rosalind Gabriel said since Lorraine Pouchet assumed the title of President of the
NCC, a lot of members was able to highlight their concerns.

Such concerns were issues of victimization within the NCBA.

Meanwhile Mas band leader, Dune Ali highlighted that several issues regarding the appointment of a NCBA
President and has said that they would like to see changes within the organization where by the incumbent can be
replaced.
