As this country’s manufacturers prepare to enter the second phase of its bilateral trade agreement with neighbouring Venezuela, President of the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers Association, Dr. Rolph Balgobin says the arrangement has been fruitful so far.

Trinidad and Tobago has been sending shipments of food and other requested items to that country, amid its social and political unrest, following a meeting of heads in June this year.

In a News Power Now interview, Dr. Balgobin said the benefits are tremendous for T&T.

160720104617-venezuela-supermarket-780x439This country’s manufacturers have been shipping items in three month intervals to Venezuela. Dr. Balgobin explained that multiple shipments have been sent over via both sea and air.
