Energy Minister, Franklin Khan, says efforts have restarted to revive discussions in Ghana on initiatives for major investments.

He claims that under the Patrick Manning led administration, dialogue had begun between representatives of both governments in 2007.

Speaking in the Senate on Tuesday, Minister Khan said the deliberations were far advanced and started to bear fruit.

He however noted that the previous administration neglected to follow up on the initiative and this has made the task of gaining lost ground challenging.
