While business officials in Trinidad have been grappling with a foreign exchange shortage in recent months, sister isle Tobago seems to be faring well. In an interview with President of the Tobago Hoteliers Association, Carol Ann Birchwood James, News Power Now learnt there are little to no challenges when it comes to foreign exchange on the island.
The hotel association head said Tobago is experiencing increased arrivals at this time, this despite much talk of a recession in this country.
Mrs Birchwood James also allayed concerns of the water challenges facing the tourist destination, saying that while there were still minor challenges, Hotels have been managing well in recent time.
