Trinidadian shoppers join in on Black Friday mayhem

BLACK FRIDAY PRICESMARTHundreds of shoppers in Trinidad took part in a lack Friday madness today. They turned up to get their hands on discounted items at warehouse supermarket Price Smart.

Shoppers queued from 3:30am to be the first in line.

One shopper was reportedly injured and taken to hospital.

Shoppers also said that there were insufficient shopping carts for anxious shoppers.

Traffic heading into the Western Peninsular was backed up for miles from as early as 6am as cars lined up to enter the facility.

The situation was more chaotic across the United States, Canada and United Kingdom.

LONDONFights and other types of confrontations broke out among customers trying to get televisions and designer items.

The London Metropolitan Police had to be called in at one store where two women were fighting over the last TV.

Police also closed down a Tesco supermarket in Scotland after scuffles broke out among shoppers queuing for Black Friday bargains.
