TSTT Closing Nine Retail Stores. Company Dismayed by CWU’s Misrepresentations.

TSTT Closing Nine Retail Stores. Company Dismayed by CWU’s Misrepresentations.

The Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago says its decision to commission an independent Audit Report of the Oracle Universal License Agreement negotiations and present a full report to the company’s Board of Directors is a firm demonstration of good corporate governance and accountability.

In a media release TSTT explained that the issues were thoroughly discussed, ratified and approved by the Board.

The state-owned company has confirmed that it will be closing nine of its retail stores. TSTT has however assured that there would be no job losses as a result.

TSTT points out that it remains dismayed but not surprised by what it describes as the Communication Workers Union’s ongoing misrepresentations about the company’s operations.
