The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Company (T&TEC) has said that Corporate entities will have to deal with a reduced power supply over the next few days.
The authority explained that this is necessary to satisfy the needs of the public.
Yesterday the electricity company announced a load shedding plan after a leak developed at a pipeline that supplies Natural Gas to its generators.
The Company’s General Manager Kelvin Ramsook disclosed that NP would be attempting to rectify the situation over the next three days.
However, it advised that until then the public needs to conserve its electricity use.
He revealed that presently the company’s output is not the usual amount that is necessary to supply the entire country.
This has resulted in corporate Trinidad being told to conserve its use so that the public is minimally affected.
