On a monthly basis members of the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers Association and officials at the Water and Sewage Authority will meet to address issues, hurting the business community regarding the provision of water and wastewater services by the utility.

This decision was agreed upon at a recent meeting between representatives from both sides.

A media release from WASA yesterday stated members of the TTMA are being encouraged to direct any service related issue or complaint they may have via the TTMA, and the matter will be addressed at the monthly meetings.

However, the utility explained this does not preclude business operators coming to WASA directly.

Chief Executive Officer of the TTMA, Dominica Hadeed, welcomed the move and hope ties between the two organizations will be further strengthened.

He also saw the need for similar relationships to be forged between the TTMA and other governmental agencies.
