The Trinidad and Tobago Postal Corporation is expecting normalcy in its services tomorrow.
Last week TTPOST confirmed that the Corporation was affected by two straight days of a high level of absenteeism.
TTPOST apologized to the public for the disruption in service and also empathized with the public, especially recipients of Social Welfare Grants.
Meanwhile, the Postal Workers Union is reporting that it was able to get a meeting with the Public Utilities Minister on the non-payment of back pay.
PWU President, David Forbes, gave confirmation of the development in a News Power Now interview.
Mr Forbes said workers for another time were given assurances that the arrears to them will be paid.
The senior PWU official defended the workers sick -out action claiming that nothing was intentionally done to disrupt the service.
